Privacy Policy
Last updated 2026. The Ted Gunther Memorial Fund is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization.
What we collect
When you register for the outing, add a sponsorship, volunteer, donate, or contact us, we collect the details you type into those forms — typically your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, company name, shirt size, and any notes you choose to share.
We also keep a record of your registration and payment history across years so our volunteers can recognize returning golfers, sponsors, and donors.
Payments
Online payments are processed by PayPal. We never see or store your full card number, expiration date, or security code. We store only the amount, the payment status, and the confirmation identifier PayPal returns to us.
How we use your information
We use it to run the outing: confirming registrations, issuing tickets and QR check-in codes, assigning teams and starting holes, acknowledging sponsors, sending event reminders and receipts, and thanking donors.
Sponsor names, company names, and logos may be displayed publicly on this site and on signage at the event — that's the point of sponsoring. Golfer, volunteer, and donor details are not published.
What we never do
We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. We do not share it with advertisers. We share it only with the service providers that make the event work (our website host, database host, email sender, and PayPal), and only as needed.
We email you about the registration, sponsorship, donation, or volunteer signup you submitted, plus occasional news about the fund. Every non-transactional email includes an unsubscribe option.
Children
Our forms are intended for adults. Junior golfers and family guests should be registered by a parent or guardian.
Accessing or removing your information
Ask us any time and we'll tell you what we have, correct it, or delete it — except records we're required to keep for charitable accounting. Reach us through the contact page.
Changes
If we change this policy we'll update the date above. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
